Summer II Practicum Announcement

Summer Practicum Students,

I hope that all of you are doing well. This letter will outline the meeting dates for PC6410. Summer II term begins on Thursday, June 28th. Although our class is designed to be a Wednesday evening class; we will have our first class meeting on Thursday, June 28 from 6-9 pm. It is necessary to begin immediately so that students will have enough weeks of supervision time for practicum requirements. We will not meet during the second week of the term in celebration of Independence Day (July 4th). We will resume class on July 11th and will subsequently meet every Wednesday until August 15th which marks the end of the Summer term. In addition, I am requiring that all students check in with the class via ecollege using the “email all” function during the week that we have off and during the interim. The dates are as follows: July 4th, August 22, and August 29th. Further instruction on this will be given on the first evening of class.
Finally, Fall term begins on September 4th and we will resume our class meetings for Internship on Wednesday evenings beginning on September 5th. I hope that this letter providesyou with enough time to make accommodations for the mandatory meetings outlined above. If for any reason you are not able to attend please consider signing up for a Fall term Practicum start.

I look forward to seeing all of you on June 28th!
